About Me

Welcome to my blog.

My name is Ray and for many years I have enjoyed cross-stitch embroidery, in particular I enjoy embroidering magical and mythical designs.

I confess that I am a rather reluctant blogger but I have recently been invited to be a guest member of the Crafty Boots Design Team. It is a great honour to be invited to work with this very talented team and I thank them for this opportunity.

Why not check-out this amazing team of designers for yourself and hop across to the Crafty Boots Challenge blog.

Please leave your comments and let me know what you think of my work.

Tiger Lillies

Hi

I hope you have had a good weekend.

I do not post very often, simply because it takes me a while to complete a cross stitch, but today is the first day for a new challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges and I wanted to be part of this particular challenge because, for the next two weeks the challenge is to use fabric in your project.

I just had to take up this challenge and so I have produced a small cross stitch share with you.

It was the vibrant colours of these flowers which first attracted me to this kit.  The design is stitched on 14 count aida.

Since my last post the Crafty Boots Design Team has four new members:

Sandra

Please make a point of visiting the Crafty Boots Challenges site to see their projects.

What a Blustery Day

Hi

It is a long time since I last posted anything - it takes me a while to complete a cross stitch chart and frame it! But I had to get this finished in time for the current Crafty Boots Challenge, which is hosted by Emma T, the theme for the next two weeks is 'No Girls Allowed'. This does not  necessarily mean no boy cards, just no images of girls.

This design came in the form of a kit, it contained the aida and all the thread I needed, they even give you a needle. It was quick and simple to make and a good way for someone who has never cross stitched before to have a go.

Why not pop over to Crafty Boots Challenges and check out the really wonderful projects the other Design Team Members have come up with.
