About Me

Welcome to my blog.

My name is Ray and for many years I have enjoyed cross-stitch embroidery, in particular I enjoy embroidering magical and mythical designs.

I confess that I am a rather reluctant blogger but I have recently been invited to be a guest member of the Crafty Boots Design Team. It is a great honour to be invited to work with this very talented team and I thank them for this opportunity.

Why not check-out this amazing team of designers for yourself and hop across to the Crafty Boots Challenge blog.

Please leave your comments and let me know what you think of my work.

Snow - It's What Tiggers Like Best!

Some more of my favourite Winnie the Pooh characters.

As you can see, I stitched this design on pale blue to give the impression of an icy day, if you look closely you can see that the snow is falling but our childhood friends are dressed for the weather.  I thought that the detail on Pooh's scarf was fun.

  1. Hi Ray
Welcome to the world of blogging - and congrats on your DT post over at Crafty Boots.
Love your cross stitch - I used to do lots before I got into card making. In fact I used to work for Designer Stitches (sadly no longer with us) as one of the stitchers. They were famous for their Winnie the Pooh pieces as I am sure you know.
I have become a follower of your blog and look forward to seeing more of your fabulous work.
    Hugs
    Denise xx
